Payment Terms & Conditions

When you book a trip with Elite Expedition, you agree not to hold the company, their camps in India, or their staff liable for any accidents, illnesses, injuries, or even death that might occur during the trip.

By filling out the booking form, making any payment, or signing electronically, you and your family are legally agreeing to this waiver.

To secure your spot on this limited-capacity expedition:

• Booking Deposit: A non-refundable deposit of 25% of the total tour cost is required to confirm your reservation.
• Second Instalment: Additional 25% is due 120 days prior to the departure date.
• Final Balance: The remaining 50% must be cleared no later than 60 days before the expedition start date.

Cancellations must be submitted in writing via email.

• 91+ Days before departure: Loss of the initial 25% non-refundable deposit.
• 61 to 90 Days before departure: 50% of the total tour cost will be retained.
• 45 to 60 Days before departure: 75% of the total tour cost will be retained.
• Less than 45 Days before departure: 100% cancellation fee (no refund).

Expeditions in Ladakh are subject to extreme weather conditions.

• Flight Cancellations: We are not responsible for flight delays or cancellations due to weather in Leh. Any additional costs for accommodation or transport are the traveler's responsibility.
• Road Blocks: If remote valleys become inaccessible due to heavy snow, we reserve the right to alter the itinerary. No refunds will be issued for changes caused by nature.

Due to the high-altitude nature of this trip (above 11,500 ft), emergency medical evacuation insurance is mandatory. We strongly recommend a policy that also covers trip interruption and high-altitude trekking.

No partial refunds will be given for unused meals, hotel rooms, transport, or tracking days if a participant leaves the expedition early or skips activities for any reason, including altitude sickness.

All prices are subject to a 5% Goods and Services Tax (GST) as per Indian government regulations, which will be added to your final invoice.

If we do not have enough participants, we may cancel the trip up to 30 days before departure. In such cases, you will receive a full refund of all payments made to us. However, we are not responsible for any other expenses you may have incurred (flights, visas, hotels, etc.).

We are not responsible for lost, damaged, or delayed luggage. If you hand over your luggage to us for transport, you do so at your own risk. This includes valuable items such as cameras, lenses, laptops, and binoculars. We strongly recommend purchasing luggage insurance to protect your gear.

If you do not arrive on the first day of the trip, it is considered a "no-show". This is treated the same as a last-minute cancellation — no refund will be issued. Any additional costs due to schedule changes caused by your late arrival will also be charged.

All content published on this website — including but not limited to text, tour descriptions, expedition itineraries, pricing information, wildlife guides, photographs, videos, logos, and graphic designs — is the exclusive intellectual property of Elite Expedition and is fully protected under the Indian Copyright Act, 1957 and applicable international intellectual property laws.

• No Copying of Written Content: You may not copy, reproduce, republish, upload, post, transmit, or distribute any text, tour description, written material, or any part of this website — in any form or by any means, digital or print — without prior written permission from Elite Expedition.
• No Use of Photographs or Videos: All wildlife photographs, landscape images, expedition videos, and visual media displayed on this website are the sole property of Elite Expedition or credited photographers. Downloading, screenshotting, screen recording, sharing, or using any image or video for any personal, commercial, or social media purpose without our written consent is strictly prohibited.
• No Copying of Itineraries: Our tour itineraries, day-by-day schedules, wildlife tracking routes, and expedition structures are original works developed by our expert team. Using them — in full or in part — to build similar or competing services is a direct violation of our intellectual property rights.
• No Commercial Use: No content, image, video, logo, or branding from this website may be used for any commercial purpose — including advertising, promotion, resale, or product creation — without explicit written authorisation from Elite Expedition.
• Guest-Submitted Content: If you share photographs, reviews, or testimonials on our social media pages or directly with us, you grant Elite Expedition a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use that content for promotional purposes with appropriate credit to you. You retain full ownership of photographs taken personally during your tour.
• Permitted Use: You may share links to our website pages and reference our tour names for personal, non-commercial informational purposes. Any other use of our content requires prior written permission.
