Elite Expedition India runs small-group photography tours across Ladakh, led by guides who were born and raised in the region. Our photo tours take you into monastery courtyards at Hemis and Thiksey, remote villages in Zanskar and Nubra, and the camps of Changpa nomads, where long-standing local relationships open doors most visitors never see.
Tours run from May to September, when the mountain passes are open, with departures timed around festivals such as Hemis Tsechu (June/July) and Losar, the Ladakhi New Year (December/January). Every tour is planned around the best light, with respectful, permission-based portrait sessions arranged by our guides, and camera rentals available at the destination for our guests.
